I also liked being able to look at other educators blog sites. Being able to view these weblogs, showed me the many possibilities as to how a weblog can be used in the classroom. I don't think I can truly use them in my classroom with such young children but liked seeing what other teachers were doing with technology in their classes. A person could really spend a day looking at weblogs.
I look forward to seeing other digital media I have never experienced and think it's important to know all these things being a student in the IT program.

If students could not look at blogs, how can you? Are there other teachers creating blogs whose content you would find compelling to read?
I also don't see how I can use half of what we are learning in class - but mostly because my district blocks all wikis and blogs. So I am seeking ways to use what I DO have available in new ways (see my blog: http://www.gggamegirlrose@blogspot.com for my latest thought.)
I also find the information being shared amazing! What we can do with technology today just boggles the mind! Twitter and tweet (I love some of the names they have, too!), flickr, wikis, RSS and texting google - wow! My only concern is that there are not enough hours in the day to experiment with and explore everything that is out there! And I know from experience that if I don't use something at least 3 times, I will forget how to do it.
Yes, Helen I agree about not having enough hours in the day to experiment and explore all that is out there. If only we didn't have to sleep ... hahahaha. That's why I am trying to narrow down what I like best -- and then using those technologies more often.
